Pruthvi Foundation

To bring equal economic status to one and all. To enhance the standard of living of women and children in all spheres of life.

Pruthvi Foundation is dedicated to addressing unemployment and inequality, particularly among blind children, with a focus on providing equal opportunities for education and employment. Despite challenges such as limited resources for essentials like food and rent, the organization sustains itself through income from agricultural land. Through strategic planning and community engagement, they aim to achieve their goals and positively impact society. Additionally, the NGO prioritizes women's empowerment through health awareness and economic support activities, while also providing essential tools like canes and talking watches to the blind and promoting health and hygiene in underserved communities.

Our Programs

Distribution of Canes and Watches to Blind

The distribution of canes and talking watches to the blind is a vital program undertaken by our NGO to improve their lifestyle and foster independence. By providing essential tools like canes and talking watches, we empower blind individuals to navigate their surroundings confidently. This initiative not only enhances their mobility but also instills a sense of self-assurance, enabling them to move around independently. As a regular program, it ensures that all blind individuals admitted to the NGO have access to these life-enhancing resources, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.

Skill Development

To enhance the inmates' employability and adaptability in today's competitive landscape, our NGO offers basic computer and English-speaking courses as part of our skill development program. By providing these essential skills, we empower individuals to broaden their job prospects and effectively communicate in the global market. Recognizing the significance of continuous learning, we strive to equip our participants with the tools needed to thrive in various professional settings. Through these courses, we aim to bridge the knowledge gap and foster self-improvement among the inmates, preparing them for success in their personal and professional endeavors.

Brailey Training for Blind

The Brailey Training for the Blind is a recurring program organized by the NGO to empower visually impaired individuals, enhancing their confidence and literacy skills. Through specialized training, participants gain the ability to navigate the opportunities available in society effectively. The program aims to break barriers and equip the blind with the tools they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives. By fostering literacy and self-reliance, the initiative promotes inclusivity and equal access to opportunities for all members of the community.

Religious Programs

Every year, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated alongside other religious festivals within our community, fostering harmony and brotherhood among inmates. Cultural programs enrich the festivities, providing opportunities for joy and togetherness. Sweets are generously distributed, symbolizing the spirit of sharing and unity among all participants. Through these celebrations, our community strengthens bonds and cultivates a sense of belonging.

Health Awareness Camp

Regular health camps organized by the NGO focus on women and children, providing essential medical services and screenings. In addition to blood donations, these camps offer vital awareness sessions on health and hygiene practices, empowering participants with knowledge to improve their well-being. Through these initiatives, the NGO strives to promote preventive healthcare and ensure access to medical assistance for vulnerable populations. This ongoing program underscores the NGO's commitment to community health and welfare.

Women Empowerment

To empower women, our NGO conducts embroidery and craft classes aimed at fostering economic independence. By providing skills training in these traditional crafts, women are empowered to generate income and become self-sufficient. These classes not only enhance their financial stability but also contribute to their overall happiness and satisfaction. Through economic empowerment, women are enabled to play an active role in bolstering the country's economy, fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.
